Ústav biochemie s radostí gratuluje Hans-Heineru Gorrisovi k získání habilitace v oboru Analytická biochemie! He received the appointment decree from president Petr Pavel in Prague's Karolinum.
On Monday 16 June, the Grand Auditorium of the Karolinum in Prague hosted a ceremony where new professors received their official appointment decrees. The Scientific Board of Masaryk University nominated fourteen candidates, one of whom was Hans-Heiner Gorris from our department. His research focuses on ultra-sensitive bioanalytical methods using enzyme amplification and photon-upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) for single-molecule detection with minimal optical interference.

The dean presented awards to the best students of the Faculty of Science MU. Among the best doctoral students were Martin Kopecký, Pavel Špaček and Martin Havlásek from the Department of Biochemistry. Congratulations to all awardees!
