The 5th Conference on Properties, Design, and Applications of Upconversion Nanomaterials (UPCON’26) will take place from April 12–17, 2026, at the Hotel Continental in Brno. The organizers Hans Gorris and Zdeněk Farka are looking forward to welcoming more than 100 international participants.

National Centre for Biomolecular Research launches 4GLYCO

4GLYCO, a platform dedicated to the commercial sale of lectins – specialized proteins capable of recognizing and binding carbohydrates. The platform builds on more than 25 years of lectin research by Michaela Wimmerová research group.
