Information for submission of proposals

• The bachelor thesis must be experimental and is based on a literature search and presentation of the results of the student's experimental work on the assigned topic.
• The standard time for the preparation of the bachelor thesis is 2 semesters.
• Each topic is intended for one student only (two or more students cannot be assigned the same topic for the Bachelor's thesis, even in different programmes or specialisations of study).
• In case the student has worked on the proposed topic of the thesis at the workplace in a previous study, the results of this activity may not be included in the Bachelor's thesis.
• Take into account the standard time for the preparation of the bachelor thesis to avoid changing the topic during the preparation of the thesis.
• The minimum qualification requirement for the supervisor of the bachelor thesis is a PhD degree or equivalent in the field.

• The topics of bachelor theses will be approved by the programme guarantor until the beginning of the autumn semester when, after approval, the topics will be made available to students in the information system (IS MU).
• The bachelor's thesis can be written in Czech, English or Slovak, where the Slovak language must be approved by the thesis supervisor and the pedagogical deputy director of the department via the Office application in IS MU. The language of the thesis must be identical to the one specified in the assignment of the bachelor thesis.
