This year's edition of Biochmelie was all about discovery. The main goal of the event was to connect undergraduate students with their potential future at our department.
Through a series of interactive stations, participants got to know various fields and research directions, finding out what Master's studies actually entail and which doors a biochemistry degree can open in the professional world.
It wasn't just dry theory, either. Throughout the day, participants completed diverse tasks that tested both their observation skills and their knowledge. Thanks to our generous sponsors, the most successful ones walked away with some great prizes.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, but especially to all the students who got involved and created such a fantastic atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
The dean presented awards to the best students of the Faculty of Science MU. Among the best doctoral students were Martin Kopecký, Pavel Špaček and Martin Havlásek from the Department of Biochemistry. Congratulations to all awardees!
Masaryk University has awarded another 13 MASH StG/CoG grants to promising researchers. Seven of them are from our faculty. One of them was given to Michaela Dzurov Krafčíková for her project MITOCODE!
